Bio
I can assure quality translation, here's why:
- Very high level of proficiency in Italian, English and Portuguese languages - no misunderstandings. I've not only studied these languages at universities in Italy, UK, Portugal, Lithuania and Belgium but have also lived for 3 years in the UK, as well as in Portugal for six months, staying in close contact with the language as it is used by native speakers and deepening my understanding of each culture. I have acquired my Bachelors degree in Intercultural communication from Bari University and have been living in Italy for 5 years now.
- Fluent and stylistically correct text in Lithuanian. Not every native speaker is able to produce a good text. I have worked as a journalist and as a proofreader and editor, and studied Lithuanian language at the University of Vilnius, so when it comes to good writing - you can trust me.
- Expert in technical translations. I've worked with technical and legal translations since 2012, getting to know the pecularities of specialised language. I understand very well the importance of precision and coherence in order to produce a clear specialised text in the target language.
Do you have a translation to be done from Lithuanian to Italian? We all know it is best to turn to a native speaker of the target language... However, the problem is, Italians translating from Lithuanian are extremely few! That's why I translate to Italian as well and provide proofreading services in collaboration with Italian native-speaker colleagues.
What do I translate?
- industrial machinery, electronic devices and automotive manuals, certifications, user guides, descriptions
- contracts, certificates, regulations, court proceedings, identity documents.
- IT related texts
- always curiuos to work with other kinds as well!
CAT and other translation software:
