I got my Master's degree in translation in 2014, and since then I provide translation and editing that truly help people.
Right now, I'm working for DOK Leipzig International Film Festival, where I perform both organisational and linguistic tasks including business communication in three languages, subtitling, and translation.
I work in TradosStudio, SubtitleEdit, MemoQ, MemSource, Smartcat.
Throughout my career, I have worked out what areas I prefer working with:
law, marketing, oil & gas (worked for Gazprom), economics, film subtitles, and social issues and initiatives (NGOs, feminism, veganism, human rights, the environment).
Naturally, I also love and know linguistics and other humanities like anthropology, cultural studies, and intercultural communication.
Here are my academic details:
University degree in Linguistics and Translation (Russian, English, and German). (Saint Petersburg State University)
Language proficiency certificates in English (IELTS 8.5) and German (TestDAF 4.0).
