Bio

I'm a certified and sworn translator (EN>NL) with a BA in translation and an MSc in Sociology / Mass Communication Studies.

I worked as a social scientist at two Dutch universities for eight years and conducted research into health education and parliamentary election campaigns.

I also worked as an in-house technical writer with Ericsson Telecommunications and as an in-house software localizer at a Dutch translation agency.


I have worked as a freelance translator and editor since 2001. Social research and marketing research, research methodology, surveys, marketing and mass media communication, public policy, and medical translations are my main interests.

My rates vary between EUR 0.08 and EUR 0.15 / USD 0.10 and USD 0.18, depending on the complexity of the source text and the service required.
