Bio
I am a Dutch professional translator based in Madrid, Spain. I provide both translation and localisation services from English and Spanish into my mother tongue, Dutch.
After having studied Spanish Philology in The Netherlands and one year abroad in Salamanca, Spain, I decided to immerse myself in the world of translation and started my Master's in Literary Translation at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which I successfully finished in 2013.
During my Master's studies I started a career as a freelance translator. Though my main specialty is literary translation, over the past two years I have done many other projects in several fields such asm marketing, technical, subtitling, dictionary building (WordReference), tourism & travel, TV & cinema, and sports.
