• Freelance (2019 - Present)
  
  -Translated award-winning author Xu Zechen’s short story Nanjing, Nanjing for inclusion into the book The Selected Stories of Xu Zechen for Yilin Press.
  
  -Conducted regular UI and marketing Chinese->English translation work for one of China’s largest dating apps, Tantan.
  
  -Verified parts of the Chinese translation of Columbia University Professor Cynthia Robert’s (et. al) book The BRICS and Collective Financial Statecraft.

            -Most classes conducted entirely in Chinese, thesis written entirely in Chinese.


            -Thesis: “Changes in Chinese Ideology Since the Reform and Opening-up Period: A Natural Language Analysis of People’s Daily Articles from 1978-2003” 

            -Thesis used machine learning via Google’s natural language processing API to analyze the sentiment of Chinese newspaper articles and draw conclusions on the evolution of Chinese political ideology since the Reform and Opening up era began.

            -Most classes conducted entirely in Chinese, thesis written entirely in Chinese.
