I am a Brazilian translator who would like to expand my experience by working for foreign companies. I have a bachelor degree in Translation Studies, a Master degree in Letters and, currently, I’m taking a PhD in Linguistics. This academic path has contributed to my skills with languages and writing, as well as listening and proof-reading. As a translator, I have worked professionally in the field for the past three years. In my current position as a freelance translator I translate documents and audio from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, from Spanish to Portuguese and vice-versa and also from English to Spanish and vice-versa. I perform verbal language interpretation on occasion. I have translated academic, medical, technical, legal and cultural documents in general. I can do a fast job with excellence.
I am fluent in reading, writing and speaking English and have traveled extensively to English and Spanish speaking countries such as the USA, England, Argentina, Peru, Chile. This experience has provided me with a solid knowledge of various cultural aspects. I have a firm grasp of the Portuguese, Spanish and English languages with an understanding of proper sentence structure, grammar rules and vocabulary.
