Hello! I'm an English to Spanish Translator based in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in Puerto Rico and moved here when I was 29. I'm the daughter of Dominican immigrants so I think it's fair to say that I'm a multicultural linguist. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies in Translation and Interpretation at the University of Puerto Rico. I also studied at the Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Dennis. My graduate thesis was a partial translation of the novel "Soledad" by the American novelist Angie Cruz. I've volunteered as a translator for the American Heart Association and the non profit Reclaim It! I'm starting out as a translator and I am interested in translating literature (literary fiction, magical realism, thrillers, mystery) and travel texts. Send me a message if you think we would be a good fit!
