Source text - English Estas criaturas vivem dentro de cavernas e foram vistas poucas vezes. São ferozes caçadores, que vivem em bandos e perseguem de forma implacável quaisquer criaturas incautas que se aventurem nos túneis onde habitam.
Os Demônios Cegos possuem um corpo semelhante a felino, porém com pele reptiliana. Ágeis corredores, costumam atacar em bandos de vários contra um, não raro demonstrando grande inteligência coletiva em suas caçadas, perseguindo uma presa por vez, de forma a isolá-la.
Quem viu uma destas bestas e sobreviveu para contar revela membros espessos e fortíssimos, patas com dedos grossos e garras possantes, uma cauda longa e fina lembrando uma grossa cinta de couro e a cabeça semelhante a um crânio descarnado de felino, sem olhos e com longas presas. Há também relatos de que seu couro tomado por pequenas escamas é espesso e capaz de suportar investidas com armas penetrantes. Exploradores contam casos em que armas pontiagudas como lanças de arremesso simplesmente resvalaram ao se chocar contra o couro destes animais.
Esqueletos e carcaças mutiladas destas criaturas são encontrados nas entradas das cavernas onde elas habitam, o que sugere a possibilidade de ocorrer canibalismo ou rivalidade entre integrantes desta espécie.
São raríssimos os casos em que alguma destas criaturas é vista fora de seu ambiente subterrâneo. Quando isso acontece à noite, o Demônio Cego tende a ficar muito agressivo, guinchando e atacando qualquer outra coisa que se mova por perto. Durante o dia, o animal encolhe-se, movendo-se o mínimo possível. Nessas ocasiões, a cor escura de sua pele faz com que lembrem rochas ou estátuas.
Devido a sua natureza, não são conhecidos os seus hábitos reprodutivos nem nunca foram vistos filhotes.
Capazes de se orientar na mais completa escuridão, os Demônios Cegos são incrivelmente ágeis e costumam escolher túneis amplos com longas galerias como habitat, onde desenvolvem velocidades de corrida semelhantes a muitos felinos de savana, desde que haja espaço suficiente para isso.
Estas criaturas também conseguem ser extremamente silenciosas até o momento em que atacam todas juntas e iniciam a perseguição às presas, emitindo uma apavorante algazarra de guinchos e uivos que ecoa pelos túneis. Tome cuidado ao entrar em uma caverna se tudo ali estiver muito quieto - você pode não tê-los ouvido, mas, caso existam ali, é certo que os Demônios Cegos já ouviram você!
Translation - Portuguese These creatures live inside caves and have been seen only a few times. They are fierce hunters, who live in packs and relentlessly pursue any unsuspecting creatures who venture into the tunnels where they live.
Blind Devils have a feline-like body, but with reptilian skin. Agile runners, they usually attack in groups of several against one, often demonstrating great collective intelligence in their hunts, chasing one prey at a time in order to isolate it.
Whoever saw one of these beasts and survived to tell the tale reveals thick and very strong limbs, paws with thick fingers and powerful claws, a long and thin tail resembling a thick leather band and the head like a scrawny feline skull, without eyes and with long tusks. There are also reports that its leather, covered with small scales, is thick and capable of withstanding even penetrating weapons' attacks. Explorers tell of cases where pointed weapons like throwing spears simply slipped when hitting the leather of these animals.
Skeletons and mutilated carcasses of these creatures are seldom found at the entrances to the caves where they live, suggesting the possibility of cannibalism or rivalry between members of this species.
There are very few cases where one of these creatures were trapped outside their subterranean environment. When this happens at night, the Blind Devil tends to be very aggressive, shrieking and attacking anything that moves nearby. During the day, the animal shrinks, moving as little as possible. On these occasions, the grayish color of their skin makes them resemble rocks or statues.
Due to their nature, their reproductive habits are not known nor have puppies ever been seen.
Able to orient themselves in the most complete darkness, Blind Devils are incredibly agile and tend to choose wide tunnels with long galleries as their habitat, where they develop running sprint speeds similar to many savannah cats, as long as there is enough space for that.
These creatures also manage to be extremely silent until they attack all together and start chasing prey, when emitting a terrifying screeching and howling ruckus that echoes through the tunnels. Be careful when entering a cave if everything is very quiet there - you may not have heard them, but if they do exist there, it is certain that the Blind Devils have heard you!

Source text - English Feitos quase que inteiramente de pedra, os Rohoras são tidos como manifestações energéticas encarnadas. Semelhantes a golems, porém dotadas de vontade própria, estas criaturas raramente são vistas graças à sua capacidade mimética. Há relatos de que existem diversos tipos de Rohora. Algumas pessoas dizem ter visto pequenos amontoados de pedras ovais ou cilíndricas reorganizarem-se de repente e saírem andando, como se fossem grandes insetos. Outros relatos contam sobre serpentes gigantescas feitas de rochas pontiagudas e mesmo monstruosas escarpas e pequenas montanhas que se levantaram e saíram andando ou voando, causando até mesmo terremotos. Não se sabe se e como tais seres se alimentam. Outra coisa que se diz é que o comportamento do Rohora é bem variável, podendo oscilar entre a passividade e a agressividade extremas. Alguns estudiosos relacionam o temperamento dos Rohoras às energias ambientais que os cercam, mas há casos de Rohoras cheios de apêndices pontiagudos e atitudes violentas que se manifestaram em regiões muito pacatas, devastando paisagens, derrubando florestas e massacrando as criaturas que houvesse pelo caminho - e que tais eventos se sucederam muito rapidamente, indicando uma agilidade sobrenatural em tais seres.

I have been working with game, web, marketing, business and literature
related translations (EN > PTBR) for 15 years, mostly for my own projects or as a
hobby, and professionally in the last 3 years.
My recent work includes:
