I worked with various private offices and people to provide them with my academic
linguistics and translation services, which include paraphrasing research papers,
proofreading, Translation of documents and contracts from Arabic to English or English to Arabic, Kurdish to Arabic or Arabic to Kurdish and Kurdish to English or English to Kurdish.
Furthermore, I have a firm grasp of transcribing, and subtitling using Subtitle Edit software.
I taught a course in the English language to the first-year students of the physics department and Chemistry department at the University of Zakho. These classes covered their entire second semester, despite the COVID-19 outbreak, I continued my classes online to the end of the year following the university guidelines for online teaching. After Finishing my classes each day, I was instructed to get back to the English department and work as an assistant secretary in the English Department administrator's office for the rest of the day.
I worked as a librarian in the faculty of the humanities library at the University of Zakho, and I was responsible for the
English Language section. My most important responsibilities were organizing,
and categorizing new English books and registering them in the online university library.
Furthermore, I helped students to find books they needed for their research and
studies.
I taught English language courses for beginner-level students, as well as I had a group of
students who were intermediate-level. My responsibilities comprised teaching the four
essential language skills (Writing, speaking, reading, and listening).
