is no fair: just a string of chemical names, at least the German words actually mean something.
My favorite is Eisenbahknotpunkthinundhersteller (operator of a switch for train tracks or so I think I remember from German class, long ago). Although it is not as long as those Donau captains. | |

The beauty of it is that compound nouns in German always become one word. So in theory there is no limit to how long a word can be.
