I am a native French translator with fifteen years of experience in translation, post-editing and transcreation (English and German to all variants of French). 

With a masters in law, a masters in political science and a PhD in history, I am well-qualified to undertake a wide range of projects with a legal or social sciences content. 

My professional background is varied and reflects my many interests: I taught history at university, worked as a project manager in the higher education sector and then took up employment in an investment bank. I am therefore very comfortable translating finance and business documents.

Beside law and business, my expertise and experience extend to the following subjects:

- marketing for popular brands as well as luxury, boutique clients: press releases, brochures, websites, content for social networks

- medical and lifescience related content: medical devices and appliances, guides and manuals, patent applications, pre-market testing documentation for new products, patient questionnaires, new drug approval documentation

- NGO and public organisations: training material for UNPOL, UN Women and other UN agencies, presentations for major NGOs, grant applications, press releases

 

- IT and computing: translation of software, translation of various content for IT consulting and digital translation firms, reviews of software and hardware for website
