Born and raised in France, I hold dual American and French citizenship.
I have been working on and off as a translator for over 20 years in the U.S. and in France (ATA-accreditation English>French), mostly for the IT/Engineering/Chemical/Safety industry.
I hold a "diplôme d'ingénieur chimiste" from ECPM Engineering School in Strasbourg, France, which is roughly equivalent to a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
I worked 2 years as a Chemical Engineer in Créteil, France before moving to the United States for family reasons. After studying Computer Science at Columbia University, I worked 10 years as a Perl/UNIX Software Developer for a NYC company. Now that I am back in France, I work full-time as a freelance English-to-French translator.
I deliver accurate, high-quality translations within the deadlines agreed upon.
