I possess the right skills to offer my involvement in the translation of the legal texts and other documents, in particular EU documents, from French, Spanish and German into Latvian.

I am university graduated in philology and translation (University of Latvia) and I have nine years of full time experience: six years I was editor and translator at the quarterly "Ejiet un Maciet" and the last three I’ve spent at the Committee of Regions of European Union and European Economic and Social Committee (Brussels, Belgium). From 2011 I have the framework contract with the Court of Justice of the European Union for the translation of the legal texts from French and Spanish into Latvian.

 I am fluent in French, Spanish, German and English. My knowledge of all these languages comes as a result of studying in the countries where they are spoken: in France (Studium Notre-Dame de Vie, Venasque), Belgium (IET, Brussels), Spain (University of Burgos; IEMA, Avila), UK (Bloomsbury International, London) and Germany (Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich.

I translate with precision and attention to meanings and style.

I am fluent in MS Office, data search tools and SDL TRADOS 2021. My qualities include excellent concentration and discipline.
