Das britische Mehrheitswahlsystem führt dazu, daß einige wenige Wahlkreise entscheidend sein können. Die Menschen in den Ortschaften Beeston, Kimberley oder Nuthall gehören überwiegend zur Mittelschicht und wählten früher verläßlich die konservativen Tories.

Due to the British voting system, only a handful of constituencies can make all the difference. Voters in the towns of Beeston, Kimberley, or Nuthall belong predominantly to the middle-class and consistently voted in the past for the conservative Tories.
