experience in translating (French > English), editing and proof-reading. Flexible,

My
portfolio covers translating in many fields encompassing finance and law, through to well-being in
the workplace, and including human rights. I have extensive experience as an
editor and proof-reader at the European Union Publications Office (based in
Luxembourg), where the working language was French. I honed my eye for detail whilst working in quality control, and acquired excellent project management skills as Deputy Head of the
Proof-Reading Section (with a staff of 80 people and 11 language teams) and Print Production Officer.

For many years I have been working on a freelance basis, with clients ranging from leading human rights organisations to international business media outlets and including smaller, independent authors and nature documentary makers.

I have lived in France, Spain, Luembourg, Bulgaria and Belgium, and have now settled on the beautiful south coast of England.
