Bio

I have always been fascinated by language and diversity. Early in my childhood I was frequently exposed to English in video games (which were not always localized) and quickly went to read some of the most classical literary works in their original version, one of them being Tolkien's saga. Etymology also sparks much interest in me and I occasionally read publications on that matter.

Languages are my calling and I understood during my English and German BA that translation would allow me to connect all these interests together and many others along the way.

At the end of my Translation MA, I spent a 6-month internship in a localization agency in Paris. I was assigned to a MMO project which I immediately became passionate about. Thanks to the multichannel format of the project (game content, marketing, website, patch notes, etc.), I was able to gain experience with project management and to train my skills in many aspects.

During the following two years, I mainly participated in video game localization projects before joining SDL France. The next three years, I held the position of project coordinator for several IT and multimedia end clients. I was at the at the forefront of the transition to server-based project management at SDL on the production side.

Since 2016, I have been diversifying my fields of expertise towards marketing and technical domains. I use SDL Trados Studio, memoQ and a few online platforms (XTM, Memsource, etc.). But of course, I am still passionate about game localization.
