Brazilian/Spanish translator, interpreter, proofreader, and localization specialist with a multicultural background and a proven track record of delivering accurate and culturally nuanced language services. With a solid foundation of over 10 years in the language industry and extensive experience gained during 5 years residing in the Netherlands, I have provided language support to a wide variety of clients and public agencies, facilitating effective cross-cultural communication and leveraging localization expertise to adapt content for target markets. My skills extend beyond translation and localization to include writing, editing, proofreading, localization quality assurance (LQA) and testing, machine translation post-editing (MTPE), and natural language understanding (NLU). In addition to my field expertise, I have successfully recruited and trained new staff, including team members and external translators, and played a critical role in maintaining quality standards by reviewing the work of colleagues and candidates and providing accurate feedback.
