I have been interpreting all my life, owing to my binational background. English is my acquired first language, as are Arabic and Turkish. Adyghe is my ethnic tongue, whose pronunciation and grammatical complexity paved the way for famously "difficult" languages like Arabic to come easily to me. Japanese and French are my first and second conscious language acquisition ventures. Suffice to say that every language I have acquired came through living with its users. Cultural immersion. Those who appreciate what this means will understand that this results in culturally appropriate results when interpreting. Emotional connection is paramount, even when conveying dry logic.
I am now a proud holder of the British DPSI, and sworn in with three notaries public, as well as the Turkish Ministry of Justice of Istanbul, Turkey.
