Hello everyone!

My name is Tatiana Maksimova, and I am
a passionate language lover with primary academic background in radiophysics:
microelectronics, physics of waves, quantum mechanics, atomic physics, etc.

I also have expertise in hospitality
(3+ years) and education (2+ years), as well as I took part in a big
localization project of a world-known online platform when it first
launched in Russia.

My English improved a lot during my
one-year academic experience in of the top American liberal arts Colleges,
where I was able to get a full scholarship and majored in American Studies (with
minor in Spanish and Portuguese languages).

Later I have obtained second
education as a “Translator/interpreter in the area of professional
communication” from one of the leading universities in Russia and graduated magna
cum laude (GPA 5.0 out of 5.0).

Besides localization, I have the
following translating experience (Rus ↔ Eng):

scientific articles, parts of books, etc.

• business correspondence
translation;

• experience of translating
TV content;

• experience of working as a
consecutive interpreter in business negotiations on land development,
excursions and other types of formal and informal events.

best knowledge and language expertise to the world, which not only makes me a
very happy person, but brings to life amazing projects, which I am delighted to
become a part of.
