Source text - German Der Einzelne zur Zeit der Abfassung »Des Waldgangs«, also Mitte des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts, findet sich für Ernst Jünger durch die Situation des Weltbürgerkrieges bestimmt. Das Titanische in Gestalt der »Totalen Mobilmachung« hat planetarische Ausmaße angenommen, nicht zuletzt durch die Verbindung von Wissenschaft und Maschinenwesen. Das technische Kollektiv und seine Welt sind das Herrschende. Begrenzungen sind nur da, um im Blick auf ein quantitatives Mehr überwunden zu werden. Die Maßlosigkeit ist das Maß. In dieser nihilistischen, den Einzelnen konsumierenden Epoche sind alle Institutionen zweifelhaft geworden. Wie der Einzelne sind die Gruppen, Verbände, Institutionen einer Art Gleichschaltungsprozess unterworfen. Dies geschieht im Namen der technisch-funktionalen Welt, der auch die Ökonomie unterliegt. Ich denke, man tut der Ökonomie Unrecht, wenn man sie selbst mit dem nihilistischen Prozess identifiziert. Das Unwe-sen der Ökonomie ist nicht sie selbst. Friedrich Georg Jünger hat in seiner Schrift »Die Perfektion der Technik« auf treffende Weise das Unökonomische der heutigen, auf Raubbau setzenden Ökonomie aufgezeigt. Herrschende Momente des Nihilistischen, also auch diejenigen, die die Ökonomie bestimmen, zeigen sich in der durchgängigen Planbarkeit, der Sicherung und der Steuerung der dynamisch angelegten Zielvorgaben, der Beschleunigung, der Vermassung und der ideologisch gesteuerten Öffentlichkeit. Der Mensch ist in diesem Prozess ‚billig‘ geworden – ‚zu billig‘, wie es im »Waldgang« heißt. Der Einzelne sieht sich Gleichschaltungen, Sozialisierungen, ‚Flurbereinigungen‘ verschiedenster Art und Automatisierungsprozessen ausgesetzt. Der Tyrannis der »Totalen Mobilmachung« – offen oder versteckt – , den ‚Fesseln der Technik‘, entspricht ein bestimmter Zeitstil der Weltangst. Die Furcht ist das Symptom unserer Zeit. Nebenbei bemerkt: Das politische Handeln – selbst bestimmt von der Weltangst – funktioniert am besten über die katalysatorische Verbreitung dieser Angst – ob auf offene oder versteckt-subtile Weise.
Translation - Italian A metà del ventesimo secolo, al tempo della stesura del “Trattato del Ribelle”, il singolo si trova in quella condizione che Ernst Jünger chiama guerra civile mondiale.
Il titanico, nella figura della “mobilitazione totale”, ha assunto dimensioni planetarie, non da ultimo nella connessione tra scienza e tecnica delle macchine. La collettività tecnica e il suo mondo costituiscono il paradigma dominante. Le limitazioni esistono solo per essere superate dal punto di vista quantitativo. L’assenza di misura è il criterio. In questa epoca nichilista, deteriorante per il singolo, tutte le istituzioni sono diventate sospette. Così come l’individuo, anche i gruppi, le associazioni e le istituzioni sono sottoposte in nome del mondo tecnico-funzionale a una processo di omologazione che investe anche l’economia.
Ritengo che si faccia torto all’economia se la si identifica con questo processo nichilista: questa sua non-essenza (Unwesen) non è infatti l’economia stessa.
Nel suo scritto “La perfezione della tecnica”, Friedrich Georg Jünger mostra in maniera evidente la non-economicità dell’economia attuale, basata sullo sfruttamento. I tratti principali del nichilismo – quindi anche quelli che determinano l’economia – che ne emergono sono la pianificazione costante, la messa in sicurezza e il controllo degli obiettivi organizzati in maniera dinamica, l’accelerazione, la massificazione e il controllo ideologico della sfera pubblica.
In questo processo, l’uomo è diventato “di poco valore” (billig) – “troppo conveniente”, come affermato nel “Trattato del Ribelle”. Il singolo si trova sottoposto a livellamenti, socializzazioni, automatizzazioni e “ricomposizioni fondiarie” di vario genere. La reazione tipica di quegli anni alla tirannia – manifesta o segreta – della “mobilitazione totale”, alle “catene della tecnica”, è la tendenza all’angoscia di fronte al mondo (Weltangst)
La paura è il sintomo del nostro tempo. Va notato tra l’altro come l’agire politico – esso stesso caratterizzato dall’angoscia di fronte al mondo – funzioni al meglio proprio tramite la diffusione di quest’ansia, in maniera apertamente dichiarata o con mezzi più sofisticati.

Source text - German Wenn eine Familie eine Reise tut, dann kann sie nicht nur was erleben, sie hat auch ganz besondere Bedürfnisse. Das beginnt schon bei den Kleinsten: Ein Babyphon am Zimmer erleichtert das Leben ungemein. Ein Wickeltisch sollte zur Standardausrüstung zählen. Vom Gitterbettchen ganz zu schweigen. Nur wo all das finden, was die Kids brauchen? Und vielleicht auch noch die Größeren zufrieden stellen, die sich schon etwas mehr Fun und Action vom Urlaub erwarten?
Da braucht es echte Familienspezialisten, die wissen, wie der Urlaub mit den Kids so läuft. In Oberösterreich bietet sich da zum Beispiel Urlaub am Bauernhof an.
