Source text - English Managing cost across multiple clouds, being consumed by multiple business units, can be cause problems for procurement and finance.
Interoperability between local data centers or between different public clouds is challenging. Knowing when to use native cloud services or remain neutral is hard.
Each public cloud requires specific tools and skills to manage. Third party service providers are usually only good in one cloud, skills for integrating into an enterprise IT are rare.
A disjointed approach to cloud adoption can make maintaining, securing and controlling access to public cloud applications and resources difficult to administer and track.
What happens if a cloud zone or an even an entire cloud is unavailable? Or can a cloud be a DR site for the local data center?
Existing business applications are not typically configured for a public cloud environment, and just migrating them does not automatically upgrade them
Public cloud providers are not automatically responsible for security on their cloud platform – enterprises need to adapt and evolve their existing model to cover it.
Many enterprise organisations have complex technology landscapes, and more choices than ever before. The typical challenges that we see are competing and conflicting priorities, resource constraints and the need to move at pace.
Our Digital Power portfolio is designed to meet these challenges head on, by supporting our customers to source, transform and manage their cloud and data centers, by building platforms for existing applications and future digital services.
We understand your challenges, and by working with us we can help you make the right choices, to respond faster and more effectively to digital business change to get you to market quicker than before, as well as unlocking the value within your data and applications to help you drive business success.
