Note on EN>FR legal translation: Legal translation is a type of technical translation. Translating between a common law (English) system and a civilist/romano-germanic (French) system can be challenging due to significant differences in legal principles, terminology and procedures. However, with a deep understanding of both systems and specialized training, legal translators can translate accurately and effectively from one to the other.
