My training and professional
background I graduated in Technical Industrial Engineering and Industrial
Organization Engineering, but I never lost sight of my language training. I
finished my studies with placements in the United States and Italy which
allowed me to take my first steps into the world of translation. Following
several years working as an engineer, I decided to take a different career path
and pursue my dream of becoming a translator. To get me started, I completed a Master’s in Professional Translation
at the University of Granada and began my career working for a translation
agency where I learned and developed new professional skills which helped me
take the leap to start working freelance. Over the years, I have specialised in translating, editing, and
proofreading for institutional, corporate and tourism related texts.
Additionally, I have translated documents from various subject areas into
Spanish, ranging from clothing to scuba diving, Engineering, and market
research. I have helped both companies and individuals break into the Spanish
market and their 100% satisfaction is a testament to the quality of my work. |
