Source text - English The relationship between civil liberties and corruption cuts both ways. Academic research points to a vicious cycle, where widespread corruption chips away at remaining civic space and targets groups that pose a challenge to authority. At the same time, the inability of citizens to hold their governments accountable contributes to even greater abuse.
Our experience of working with more than 100 chapters around the world shows that CSOs, grassroots movements and journalists are vital for improving the quality of governance. However, respect for civil liberties, such as freedom of expression and association, is only one component of an effective anti-corruption agenda. These elements prove all the more powerful when combined with genuine political will on the part of governments to tackle problems at their root.

Uygulamaya Esas Kesin Proje genel tasarım ölçütleri ve teknolojinin geliştirilmesi için bir temel oluşturmak üzere; belirlenen saatlik yolcu sayıları ve yolculuk özelliklerine uygun kapasiteyi sağlayacak ve mevcut diğer raylı sistemler ile uyumlu sistem özelliklerini (istenen sistem performansını) tanımlayan Sistem Performans Kriterleri ve Güzergâh Geometrisi ile ilgili proje kriterleri belirlenerek (standart detaylar dâhil) yapım ihale dokümanlarına esas olacak, kesin proje detayına uygun “Tasarım Kılavuzu” hazırlanacaktır. Sisteme ait tasarım kriterlerinin belirlenmesinde; mevcut raylı sistem hatları ile sistem özellikleri, mimari ölçütler ve tasarım elemanları açısından bütünlük oluşturması önemle gözetilecektir. Translation - English 3.1. Preparation of Route Plan and Profiles, and Final Projects for Placement of Junctions
To constitute a foundation for general design measurements of the Final Project, and development of the technology; project criteria (including standard details) for Route Geometry and System Performance Criteria, which defines system characteristics (demanded system performance) that provide the capacity for specified hourly passenger number and traveling characteristics and are compatible with the existing railway system, will be stated and Design Guide which is appropriate for the final project detail will be prepared to be a basis for the construction tender documents. When design criteria pertaining to the system are determined; utmost care will be taken to ensure that integration in terms of system characteristics of existing railway system lines, architectural measurements, and design elements is achieved. The Design Guide will be prepared according to the relevant international specifications. The following items will be defined in the Design Guide;
• System Performance Criteria: Highest passenger demand during peak hour, capacity requirements (vehicle and line capacity, unit intervals, waiting times at stations, the line ends and in case of failures), service life, working hours, service safety, passenger comfort, environmental conditions, etc.
• Route Geometry: Dynamic overall length, geometric characteristics of the horizontal route (tangent sections, round curves, cants) and vertical route (desired and highest slopes, vertical curves)
• Railway design
• Requirements of integration with other railway system lines, both existing and planned
• Commissioning and Trial Operation requirements

Hello!
I'm Enise, a native Turkish speaker based in Istanbul, Turkey. My lifelong passion for linguistics and literary works began in childhood when I eagerly taught myself to read at the age of 5 just so I could read my father's books. Aside from my enthusiasm for Turkish literature, I became more and more interested in foreign languages, particularly English, which I have been mastering since middle school.
I earned my BA degree in Turkish Language and Literature in 2016 and started my freelance translator career. In 2021, I became a sworn translator and interpreter in Istanbul, Turkey while attending my master's classes. By 2023, I proudly attained my MA degree in Turkish folk literature.
