A French national, I have lived in the UK since 1998. I take pride in making my translations reflect the uniqueness
of the material with meticulous accuracy and precise vocabulary, and have never
missed a deadline for any assignment. Approaching translation as a bespoke art-form rather than as
an off-the-peg process, I try to utilise a range of different styles that are
tailored to express distinctiveness and identity, whether individual, public or
corporate: to express who you are. Concomitant with this approach, I can guarantee
that all subject matter and contexts will be thoroughly and systematically researched
via the internet, The Alliance Française and the Glasgow University Language
Library. I have a wide range of experience in education,
environmental and community arts, ceramics, dementia projects, wholefoods organic
and fair-trade, tourism... I am currently involved in a number of projects, ranging through
hydrogen-powered trains, educational assignments on renewables, adapting
nursery textbooks and Francophonia. A longer-term project is my collaboration
with an Oxbridge-published literary critic to translate the lesser-known gems
of French literature.
