Source text - English lУчитывая как жирно заявляется об однозначном конце противостояния джедаев и ситхов, девятому эпизоду придется попотеть. И дело даже не в раскрытии Палпатина, хоть истории ситхов кино времени и не уделяет. Дело в джедаях, которых не осталось. Да, есть Рей, но если сорокалетняя история франшизы закончится только ее битвой с Дартом Сидиусом, это провал. Йода, Люк и Оби Ван обязаны показаться хотя бы с камео. Особенно обязан последний - когда как не в финальной части показать самого популярного джедая планеты? Тем более что Эван МакГрегор внезапно перестал отвечать на тему своей роли в интервью, а в сети появились слухи о сериале Оби Вана для Disney Plus.
И, наконец в Последних джедаях станет на один сюжетный провал меньше. После выхода картины фанаты долгое время не верили, что такой персонаж как Люк СкайуОкер способен отвернуться от Силы и Галактики, как нам показали в фильмах. Конечно это слегка объяснили его конфликтом с БЕном СОло, но в это поверили лишь очень далекие от франшизы. Люк - джедай не только по крови, но и по сердцу. Все фильмы нам показывали его светлую сторону, то как он защищал своих друзеей, тянулся к свету и застуался за слабых. А тут неожиданно у парня в корне меняются приоритеты из-за конфликта с подростком? Ну нееет.

There’s been so much talk of how the Jedi-Sith confrontation will end once and for all in Episode 9. No doubt it’ll be a sweaty piece of work. And we don’t mean the way Palpatine is treated – though the movie indeed doesn’t focus on the Sith storyline. The thing is, there are no Jedi left. Sure, we have Rey, but if her battle with Darth Sidious is all that the franchise’s 40-year old saga ends with, it is doomed to failure. Yoda, Luke and Obi-Wan just HAVE to show up, even if with a cameo only. Especially the latter – it’s only fitting for the most popular Jedi on the planet to make an appearance in the final episode. Even more so since Ewan McGregor now evades all questions about his role and it is rumored that an Obi-Wan spinoff series is under way and will premiere at Disney Plus.
And finally, The Last Jedi will get rid of at least one storyline screwup. When the movie came out fans couldn’t believe that a guy like Luke Skywalker can turn his back on The Force and The Galaxy, but that’s what the movie told us. Yes, his falling out with Ben Solo kind of explains it, but still only those who know next to nothing about the franchise could believe it. Luke is a born Jedi, and his heart is that of a Jedi. In all the previous movies we saw him as the good guy, standing up for his friends, choosing the light, protecting the weak. And now you’re telling us he radically changes his values because of a quarrel with a teen? Come on.
