GENERAL TRANSLATION

Extensive experience translating a large variety of subject matters for both direct clients and agencies. I am particularly suited to the translation of natural, (semi-)informal language: blogs, marketing collateral, newsletters and other creative writings.

BUSINESS, FINANCIAL AND ECONOMICS

I specialise in financial and business translations. There is a direct link to my education and corporate work experience, having been employed in various roles and departments in the financial and IT industries for over a decade: business banking, venture capital, debt collection, IT, marketing & communication. I have a Master's degree in Economics and a Certificate of Law from the University of Amsterdam, with my master thesis written at the London School of Economics. I am also a Qualified Financial Advisor. 

As a translator

I have translated a wide range of business, financial and legal documents, from annual accounts and investor prospectuses to quarterly press releases and procurement regulations. Key clients for whom I work or have worked as an in-house translator include management consultancies, a large public infrastructure company and a real estate multinational. 

My translations are accurate, timely, stylistically appropriate to the presented material and target audience, and reflect my creed as a translator: a good translation cannot be recognised as a translation.
