Translation - English Correlation-based studies are often used in research. Correlation measures the degree of association between two variables, with results ranging between –1 and 1. A negative result indicates a negative correlation, inversely proportional. In other words, when one of the variables grows, the other declines, and vice versa. A positive result indicates a positive correlation, directly proportional, in which both variables move in the same direction. The result of 0 indicates the fact that there is no correlation between the two variables. When the result is very close to the ultimate 1, it is important to consider the possibility that the variables could represent the same thing, as J. B. Peterson mentioned in one of his courses. Another important aspect is the distinction between cause and correlation, especially due to the effect of this confusion among the general public
