8 Years with RWS Translations translating complex technical documents, mainly patents.

After many years in different Technical Management Positions in various industries like Printing & Imaging, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Rail I finally came to the conclusion that it is time to take a break from daily infighting and power play between Management levels and different departments.

My vast technological experience as a physicist gathered in so many apparently different industries allowed me to make use of my alternative Skills set as a Technical Translator. I can say without hesitation, that I (nearly) always fully understood the contents of the documents I translated --- in fact, I find it difficult, next to impossible, to translate something that I do not understand.

The golden thread that runs through all positions held from university to Director level is the use of Optoelectronics & Lasers and their related Precision Mechatronics.
