Raised
and born in France, I have also enjoyed extended stays in the US as I visit my
family and friends for decades. I have also had the privilege of working
as an English teacher at the university level as well as in high schools. I
have taught students in British and American literature, Marketing, Real
Estate, and Information Technology. And I have also translated medical articles for a French Veterinarian Institute.

All these enriching experiences have
equipped me with the knowledge I need to transfer to the occupation of a
translator. Yet, my belief is that learning and practicing a foreign language
is a continuing process. As Frank Tyger puts it very nicely: “Learning is
either a continuing thing or it is nothing.” Curious by nature, I love
discovering and exploring new fields, and thereof developing my language and
linguistic competencies. This in turn helps me get better qualified to
work in this industry
