Bio
Background
I have been a full-time freelance translator of German to English and French to English since 2006.
I completed a PhD in German Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During my graduate studies I gained IT experience working with course-delivery software in academic computing and later worked on the implementation of an SAP content management system at a large business.
Translation
As a translator I have worked with both translation agencies and direct clients. I translate a wide range of documents from scholarly papers to technical reports, user manuals and product data sheets, marketing materials, and financial reports.
