I am a British freelance translator with a BA Honours degree in French.
Born and raised in northern England, I am now based in France and have been living and working in a
bilingual environment for over 17 years.

Prior to becoming a freelance translator, I spent 6 years working for a large French multinational.
Much of that time was spent working in the fields of marketing and communication, and translating documents was something I did on a daily basis.

In 2003 I decided to start freelancing, and began translating under the business name of A Langue L'Aise.
Over the past twelve years I have built up a portfolio of clients with whom I work on a regular basis, and have extensive experience in a number of fields, including
marketing, transcreation, business communication, advertising, tourism and public relations.

I pride myself on producing highly polished translations and I'm proud to say I've never missed a deadline.

I can translate between 2,000 and 3,000 words a day, depending on the complexity of the text.
