Bio
I was born and raised in Spain. My father was English and my mother is Spanish. I can almost say that I have been interpreting since I sarted to talk, not between my parents, but between the British and the Spanish sides of the family. From age 3 I attended The British School of Aragon. I took my last (senior) year of High School in the USA at Wentzville High School, MO. I have a BA in Archaeology and an Ma In The Archaeology and Anthropology of Rock Art (with distinction) by The University of Southampton, UK. I lived and worked in the UK for 7 years.

I currently live in the Spanish coast in Sant Joan d´Alacant, Alicante province with my two children. Until the birth of my second child, I worked as an English teacher and as a Spanish for foreigners teacher at a Waldorf-Steiner School, although since I was at University I have always been doing translation work on the side.

When interpreting and translating I always try to grasp the mood and tone of what is being said, as well as the meaning.
I know that in this job discretion and confidentiality are paramount, and this is something I take pride in.

These are some of the coments I have had from my most recent jobs:

"It was really a pleasure to have you in the meeting for translation. But it was not only the pure translation work you did very well, I also liked that you understood the content very well." (After interpreting in a 6 hour long meeting).

"thanks for the fast delivery of the translation"

"I can imagine that you were exhausted, it is really a big challenge to translate in this way. What I also liked is your English, in this way I still can learn a lot, as you are a native speaker, at least for me. And also I really liked you positive attitude." (German client for whom I did a two hour long conference call interpretation)

"Por eso estamos contentos de que lo hayas aceptado,ya que nos consta tu seriedad, compromiso y discreción."
