I am a German>English, Spanish>English translator with over thirteen years of professional experience and a primary focus on corporate documents, although my areas of expertise and experience reach far beyond the corporate realm. Among the main ones, one can find the following broad categories: Corporate (including documents such as marketing, PR, development plans, manuals, and internal communications), engineering-related (particularly when dealing with electrical and electronics engineering), technological, IT-related, and scientific. Furthermore, I also have experience in fields such as social sciences and arts (particularly music - especially classical).
I hold two Bachelor's degrees: a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering (from the ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico), and a B.F.A. in Music (from the California Institute of the Arts in California, USA), which contribute special degrees of expertise in those areas of translation. Nevertheless, the majority of my work has been for corporate environments, and more often than not has dealt with documents of a highly confidential nature.
