I am a freelance translator with more than 11 years in English-to-German localization, working exclusively for the gaming industry. I worked on game and gaming projects of all kinds, specialising on Trading Card Games (TCGs), for which I translated cards, rulebooks, packaging materials, FAQs and websites for most of the major TCG systems for some of the world leaders in this field, and Video Games. By now I added the translation of more than 50 major PC and next generation console games (in-game texts, game audio scripts, manuals, websites) in various genres to my portfolio. Furthermore I translated several cell phone and more that 750 casual web games, some board and card games, game and game company websites, press releases and various other game related texts.
I am constantly broadening my client base to work for on a freelance basis. I am interested in further opportunities to work for the gaming and entertainment industry and a cooperation with your company.
I'm a native German speaker with advanced English speaking and writing skills. I have experience in managing large projects with word counts up to 100k words and have successfully managed high work load under tight deadlines. I take a client-centered approach to translation and always strive for the highest possible quality.
