I am a greek mechanical engineer (National Technical University of Athens), Msc in Automation Systems (National Technical University of Athens) and also a translator (Degree in Translation for german language - Goethe Institute of Athens).
I have worked as an engineer in public works in the building and renovation sector from 2002 to 2009 and I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in the technical field apart from my university education.
I have been working as a full-time translator (2 years as in-house translator) since 2009 in translation/ proofreading/ subtitling projects in the language pairs German to Greek, and English to Greek mainly in technical translations.
I have translated a great number of technical manuals for all sorts of machinery, texts concernig industrial installations, product catalogues of electrical equipment, lubricants, repair and maintenance manuals for the automobile industry, texts concerning building construction and building materials, renewable energy texts, etc.
