· Ladders must be in good condition; no missing or broken rungs no split stiles and stiles must be
even;
· Ladders must be suitably angled (1ft out for 4ft up) and tied at the top to prevent both sideways slip
and rotation;
· Ladders must extend sufficiently above the working platform for safe egress / access (1.1m or 5
rungs);
· Always stand the ladder on a firm base;
· When climbing up and down the ladder always use both hands and face the ladder and do not carry
loads up or down the ladder;
· Do not overreach from the ladder – get down and move it;
· Do not use a metal ladder against a metal surface, it may slip.

Source text - English We would expect that keeping our stake below the 50% mark would be set off with a clause in the joint venture agreement providing for any key issues to require a two thirds vote of the Supervisory Board and / or giving us some extra seats on the Supervisory Boardor some similar measures to ensure effective control of the company. Otherwise we would lose control of the funds we would have committed to the investment and increase our risk beyond any reasonable limit. We have done a fair amount of business together and I trust that you can understand our position.
We would therefore ask that you propose some relevant amendments to the draft of the joint venture agreement we faxed you for review last week and also identify the areas where the transfer of our experience, know-how, and expertise would best enhance the performance of our joint venture.
Further to our telephone conference I am also enclosing a revised version of the logo of the new company and a draft of the charter. My expectation would be that we arrange another teleconference to review the progress and / or my comments in the week of October 22nd.

My name is Małgorzata Borowska. I have been working as a freelance translator of Polish (mother tongue) and English since 2004, and since 2012 it has been my full-time occupation.
I have Master's Degree in English Philology and I also completed Postgraduate Translation Studies at the University of Wrocław and the Translation Studies Centre in Sosnowiec (intensive one-year course for specialist translators and interpreters - 360 hours of practical classes, including 180 in the interpreter’s booth).
