My love of Spanish started in 2000 after I decided to learn a second language. My hobby very quickly became an obsession and my passion. I then added some structured study to my learning so studied at GCSE then A-level and then finally with my degree, where I studied Advanced Spanish (C1). I have also studied in Spain as part of my continuing professional development. As part of my continuing professional development I listen to, watch, and speak Spanish on a daily basis, to ensure that I am continuingly improving my fluency and understanding of Spanish culture and current affairs.
Previous clinical work history: EMT, paramedic, paramedic Team Leader and then Clinical Advisor, having worked for ambulance services for 13 years, gaining valuable medical experience and knowledge, enabling me to translate medical documents from Spanish to English with ease.
