Thanks to everyone who came along to The Orange Tree on Saturday and made the 16th (!) Nottingham powwow such an enjoyable afternoon. People travelled from London, Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, Huddersfield, Lincolnshire and Sheffield, as well as from the local area, so I hope everyone found the event useful. This was our biggest powwow to date and it was great to meet new people with different language combinations, including Chinese and Polish. The DE-EN contingent was strong as usual, accounting for just over 40% of attendees! We also welcomed three guests.
I’ll be taking a break from organising powwows for a few months while I work from Spain and pursue other writing projects. Heather & Mattijs have kindly agreed to organise the next event for you so keep an eye out on the powwow page! Or why not hold a meeting in a city near you? It’s a very worthwhile experience!
