            • सूचना और संचार क्राँति का एक मज़ेदार प्रयोग इन दिनों पश्चिमी देशों में दिखाई दे रहा है. यह न्यूयॉर्क से शुरु हुआ और अब ब्रिटेन के शहरों तक आ पहुँचा है. हो यह रहा है कि दो-तीन सौ लोगों को इंटरनेट के ज़रिए संदेश भेजकर यानी ई-मेल भेजकर शहर में किसी भी जगह इकट्ठा कर लिया जाता है और फिर यह भीड़ किसी भी दुकान में घुस जाते हैं. इनका उद्देश्य सिर्फ एक माहौल बनाना है जिसमें अफ़रा-तफ़री जैसा कुछ दृश्य होता है और ख़ूब शोर-शराबा होता है. इस तरह की भीड़ से, जिसे 'फ्लैश मॉब' कहा जा रहा है, अब तक किसी गड़बड़ी फैलने की शिकायत नहीं मिली है.
