- Бихевиоризм (от англ, behaviour - поведение) - направление в психологии, исследование раздражения и ответной реакции.
Бихевиорист принимает во внимание только те факты поведения животных и человека, которые можно точно установить и описать, не считая необходимым «понимать» скрывающиеся за ними внутренние психические процессы и таким образом совершенно отказывается от метода самонаблюдения и оценки такового.

- Бихевиори́зм (англ. behaviour — поведение) — одно из направлений в психологии, программу которого провозгласил в 1913 году американский исследователь Джон Уотсон, утверждающее, что предметом изучения должно быть не сознание, а поведение. Изучая непосредственные связи стимулов и реакций (рефлексов), бихевиоризм привлёк внимание психологов к изучению навыков, учения, опыта; противостоял ассоцианизму, психоанализу.
Бихевиористами применялось два основных направления для исследования поведения — проведение экспериментов в лабораторных, искусственно создаваемых и управляемых условиях, и наблюдение за субъектами в естественной для них среде обитания.
