- En el minoreo, un almacén ancla, tienda ancla o tienda gancho, —a veces, también llamada locomotora— es el establecimiento capaz de atraer los clientes, es una de las tiendas más grandes dentro de un centro comercial. Suele ser una tienda por departamentos, un hipermercado o una gran superficie. Normalmente, en los centros comerciales las tiendas anclas están construidas en un extremo de la edificación, separadas o alejadas de las otras tiendas departamentales para poder así maximizar el flujo de compradores a la tienda, para que los compradores se tengan que recorrer el máximo de espacio dentro del centro comercial y les llamen la atención otras tiendas cercanas. El Consejo Internacional de Centros Comerciales define las tiendas anclas como una de las características de los centros comerciales.

Además con esto atraen a otros establecimientos comerciales mas pequeños.
