Produktet lages ved bearbeiding av guargummi, som kommer fra frøene til guarplanten. Guarplanten er en belgplante som ligner på soya. Delvis hydrolysert guarkjernemel fordøyes ikke, og produktet skal brukes som tilskudd av kostfiber til kostholdet. - Matportalen
