- Anyway I found that in Dutch you can also use the English term. Het is een percentage van de whisky dat tijdens het rijpingsproces uit het vat verdampt. Dit wordt in het Nederlands ook Engelendeel genoemd. Dit verlies is normaal gesproken circa 2% per jaar.
