- Unter dem hier verwendaten Ausdruck "Haarrissbildung (crazing)" ist das Phänomen zu verstehen, bei dem Formkörper (geformte Produkte) teilweise oder vollstandig trübe werden, wobei auf der Oberfläche oder im Innern der Produkte ein muster von feinen Rissen entsteht. Durch die "Haarrissbildung wird nicht nur die Transparenz der Produkte vermindert, die eine der charakteristischen Eigenschaften von aromatischen Copolyestern ist, sondern dadurch wird auch ihre Zähigkeit herabgesetzt. So wird beispielsweise ihreSchlagzerreissfestigkeit deutlich vermindert und ihre Biegefestigkeit, ihr Biegemodul und der Grad derErdung nach dem Biegen werden ebenfalls herabgesetzt.
