( PER = 주가/EPS ) 이 주가수익률이 높다는 것은 EPS가 평균수준인데 주가가 높은경우와, 주가는 평균수준인데 EPS가 너무 낮은 경우 두가지로 볼 수 있습니다. 첫번째의 경우, 이 기업의 주가가 시장에서 높게 평가되고 있다는 뜻이겠지요. 따라서 이 지표를 통하여 유사기업의 PER을 비교해봄으로써 어떤 기업이 저평가 되어 있는지를 알 수 있습니다 예를 들어, 같은 업종의 기업의 PER을 비교해보는 것입니다. A기업의 PER이 5이고 B기업의 PER이 10인경우, A,B가 속한 업종의 평균 PER이 7인 경우에 A기업은 상대적으로 저평가 되어 있다고 보면 되고, B기업은 상대적으로 고평가 되어 있다고 봅니다. 절대적인 기준은 없지만 일반적으로 PER이 10이하일 경우 저 PER로 분류됩니다. (daum 지식 )
