lectotype
A lectotype may be chosen from the original illustrated specimens, taking the original description into full account. All specimens associated with the lectotype remain syntypes. (Victoria University of Wellington)
A lectotype and an allolectotype were selected to establish the taxonomic base for the genus. A ruling has been requested from the International Commission of Zoological Nomenclature on the disposition of the neotype. (Journal of Nematology )

Tipus portadors de nom fixats subsegüentment a partir de la sèrie tipus (lectotip a partir de sintips) (Institut d´Estudis Catalans)
El tipus utilitzat en la publicació original rep el nom d'holotip. Si l'holotip es perd, es pot triar un altre exemplar del material original com a tipus nomenclatural, que és denominat lectotip. Si no hi ha exemplars aptes per crear un lectotip, es pot recollir un nou exemplar per tal que faci de tipus, i en aquest cas se'l denomina neotip. (Viquipèdia)
