Inhabiting our relational sense

Dear colleagues, I’m not sure about the meaning of “inhabiting our relational sense” in the passage below, taken from a workbook on a meditation practice called the "wheel of awareness". In this practice, you distinguish the hub of the wheel, representing pure awareness, from the rim, which represents the various objects of awareness, the “knowns” (e.g. the sensory input, sensations from the interior of the body, mental activities such as emotions and thoughts and a fourth segment representing our relational sense...).
I think “inhabing” here might mean “Experiencing our relational sense”, or perhaps is it somewhat “stronger”, more along the lines of “Diving into our relational sense”?
Thank you very much for your help!

Inhabiting our relational sense on the fourth segment of the rim
When you turned attention to the fourth segment of the rim today, what did that relational sense, our eighth sense, feel like for you? What was it like to focus on connections with others? This eighth relational sense can be experienced by some as confusing, as they are not sure what exactly they are focusing on. For others, a deep sense of love, of peace, of kindness and connection arises and they become filled with tears of joy and gratitude. Whatever your experience is, that is your experience. What was your experience like today?

Fully experiencing our relational sense”
"inhabiting" here means completely living it, feeling or experiencing it fully

: I don't know what "relational sense" means, but I expect it's apparent from the text before this.

An eighth “relational sense” can also be proposed. This sector of the rim represents our sense of relationship, our connection, with some being.
