Warpage can be defined as a dimensional distortion in a molded product after it is ejected from the mold at the end of the injection molding process.

I wouldn't be so sure about shrinkage. These are two different things, and I think that (only) warpage fits here.

Most of my dictionaries also give both options; nevertheless, there is a difference. As one website puts it, uniform change in size is normally called shrink, and nonuniform change in size causes warp (Google warpage vs shrinkage for details).

| Thanks Egor for your additional note, and for your help here. About "shrinkage" - I agree with your comment, however in the context of the document I was working on, what they were referring to was deformities in the form os shrkinkage. (perhaps the term was misused here). |
