Roof edge finishing does not sound correct - I've also found 'verge' for 'dakrand,' but am not really at home with some of the terms in this text, so any help is appreciated! TIA.

I would personally opt for:
double ply roof verge detail
For single and double ply (flat) roofing systems can be covered/finished by fascias, caps or gravels stops. This has to do with the choice of detailing the roof's edges/verges.
